LinkedIn Users Can Now Privately Signal Interest in New Job Opportunities to Recruiters: LinkedIn users who are exploring new job opportunities but would like to keep that information private from their current employer can do so with LinkedIn’s Open Candidates feature. The feature, available under LinkedIn “Preferences,” will indicate a user’s interest in jobs opportunities only to recruiters not affiliated with a user’s company.

Facebook Messenger Testing Snapchat Stories-like Feature: Facebook continues in their efforts to be the most popular social network by copying a notable feature of another social network. This time, Facebook has added a new feature exactly like Snapchat Stories to its Messenger app. As reported by TechCrunch, the feature is so far only available in markets where Snapchat hasn’t attained the popularity it has in the United States.
