  • Twitter Open Moments to All Users: Twitter’s storytelling tool, which allows users to collect tweets into a narrative, has been opened up to all users.   • Periscope to Launch VIP Program: As a means of recognizing its top broadcasters, Periscope plans to launch a VIP program. The program will offer content creators tools designed to help them grow their audiences, collaborate with other Periscope broadcasters, and identify them as VIP with special badges.   • LinkedIn Getting Ready to Introduce Major Changes: During a recent morning announcement, LinkedIn previewed a number of changes users will see in the coming weeks and months. Among the changes announced: a new look to its desktop site, an Interest Feed for discovering more relevant content, continued overhaul of its messaging platform, and the introduction of a learning platform.
  • YouTube Launches Creators for Change Initiative: In an effort to promote video content that inspires social change, YouTube just announced the Creators for Change program. The global program will spotlight video ambassadors committed to combatting issues such as “combating hate speech…countering xenophobia and extremism. To support the work of its ambassadors, YouTube is committing $1 million in grants for equipment and production. Further, YouTube will work to expand the efforts of the Creators for Change program by working with nonprofits/NGOs, schools, and media companies around the world to create local programming.
